June Garden

Early June does not have a riot of color, it could in the garden, but, then not room for the carnival colors of July. The garden is big enough without more to tend.

The iris have been wonderful and the peonies are just now starting, some things are ahead some not so much. It is a different year, and they all are, but this spring has distinct differences in the plants. So this is what I have so far.

oh my goodness emelie, your garden is ever so lovely! and your path you've made, i'd like to step in there and walk with you. it looks so huge, you have done a lot of work i see...labor of love eh? so rewarding, look at your bouquet's, they are just scrumptious.
thank you so very much for your wonderful way with words...it makes one feel so good when someone else figures them out...about how they really are deep down inside. xo

I just love your garden! Yours is way ahead of mine. I have Iris blooming and Knotweed, the bleeding heart was nearly done in by the freezes but it rallied and is still blooming even though it's rather small now. A few things are getting ready. As we had out first day of all day rain today maybe it'll help.
I just got in the dahlia bulbs this week and haven't even planted seed in the deck boxes yet. Just not gung-ho on the flowers this year.
