About Patterns

Papers for crafts are so pretty, I have some don't use them much, today after going to get new washer, and dryer which is really nice as mine are near to 30 yrs old and over that. Also outside calls as it is 80 degrees so we trimmed bushes and some perennials, and put up a new trellis. I wanted to paint and after a few days of careful painting which I can't show yet I wanted different. I drew the design, traced the parts on paper cut them out and drew them on scrap booking papers. Did other designs and then glued them down around the faces. Really a lot of fun.
measures around 15X8.

Always the struggle to have a face that doesn't look like my work, how can it look different?

Love this work, Emelie! The papers are beautiful, and you've created so much interest and movment with them. (Love the colors!) This almost has an Asian feel. Nice! I don't know you find time to do all you do in one day! (Fun having a new washer and dryer also!)

Emelie, this is so nice. I love the white lines and her head piece. She is beautiful and yes still looks like one of yours with a little nudge to being different. Nice skin tones.

Your style is your style, Em! This one does have a hint of a change though, It was a good idea and I'll have to do that sometime, too. I too, have some pretty papers & card stock and I love it but it's not what i use most of the time. That's quite a tease about having things done and can't show them yet. I understand why....but I want to see anyway!
