A Halloween Feeling

This is an old wizard, maybe not old as wizards go, but he was created in my daughters art class in the early 80s. I set him under a small shrub and the photo changed the whole perspective. I then thought I could incorperate him into some of my paintings and other alterations of photos and paintings, the yellow poplar trees and house are my photo and the house my painting, not so spooky just sort of ghostly.

Wishing you a good weekend in whatever you chose to do to make it yours.

Hi Emelie. I tried posting a comment last night and it wouldn't go so here I am again. I think this is fantastic and right on time for Halloween too. I hope you are enjoying your journaling. I am just starting to catch up on my duties here at home because I've had a cold that is finally starting to get better. I'm making butter nut squash bread today. Take care and have a great weekend. Great work!

Just caught up reading all your last week's posts. My I guess we've both been busy gals! I just seem too busy (or pooped) to get to all the blogs. You certainly have a style that says "Emelie"...I'd know it anywhere. It's fun to see it come through on your journal and in Halloween things. Can't wait for Christmas!

I am curious if that is made of ceramic or carved in wood? It looks so neat!
