The Torn Veil

That is what I think of when I look at this, I like it but it seems rather sad to me.
and the facti is it is a bit messy, but still it suggests a day not gone well. It also suggestes a scattering of things for me this month and more scatterings of things next month. It is all listed, mapped out, and hopefully remembered. In fact I made two lists incase I lose one. This leaves you no place to rest your eyes.

I love the layers in this. Isn't it funny that our art will express our mood? I love that you have 2 lists (in case you loose one :) sounds like me.

she is so pretty but does look worried about all those spring chores..well then you succeeded as emoting your harried feelings. i too have started making 2 lists, emelie...after arriving at the grocery store, wondering where my list was and then finding it in the seat next to me, after finishing shopping without it! hahahaha
funny and wonderful that you still found the time to paint in the midst of your hubbub...that's a gift!

Hi Emelie. If you feel like it, why not try painting a light layer of gesso on some of it or some other paint and quieting it down some on the right hand side? Then you could put back in a few things, maybe. Just a thought, suggestion.
